The franchised location of Your Pie in Dunwoody at Perimeter Place has closed.  Owners Lisa & Morgan Maclellan announced the abrupt closure via their facebook page early Friday and to email customers Saturday.  The restaurant's last day in business was Thursday night.  By Saturday evening, the Your Pie Perimeter facebook page had been deleted.
The Maclellans celebrating Perimeter's 4th anniversary this past January
Your Pie Perimeter opened in January 2015 in a 2,500 square foot space previously home to FIVE GUYS burgers & fries.  Based in Athens and launched by Drew French in 2008, Your Pie is a quick-serve pizza chain similar to Blaze Pizza and MOD Pizza, and to a lesser extent, Uncle Maddio's Pizza, which closed its Dunwoody area location November 2017.

The closure announcement began with the following bible verse:

"The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.  You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail." Isaiah 58:11

The Maclellans' announcement did not provide a reason for the closure, but did invite customers to visit their other Your Pie at The George, an apartment community in Grant Park, which opened in late 2017.

"Thank you for the prayers and supporting & believing in us. We have closed You Pie Perimeter, effective immediately.  This closure wasn't the outcome we envisioned when we opened 4.5 years ago, but we are grateful for opportunity, all we've learned and those we've met along the way.  We're still pizza people as we continue to grow and do fun things at our Grant Park shop. Please come say hi if you're ever in the neighborhood. Love, Lisa & Morgan."

The chain continues to operate more than two dozen locations in Georgia including recently opened restaurants at Embry Hills near Tucker and The Shops at Belmont in Smyrna.  There are several more Your Pies planned in the greater metro Atlanta area including new restaurants in Buford, Marietta and Griffin, among others.

Are you surprised that Your Pie closed in Dunwoody at Perimeter Place?  What is your favorite quick-serve pizza eatery?  Where would you like to see Your Pie open next?
