A new Mexican restaurant is coming soon to Dunwoody. The owners of Taqueria Los Hermanos plan to open a new location of their locally owned casual eatery in the old Wing Factory in the Shops of Dunwoody shopping center along Chamblee Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody Village. Wing Factory, which closed this past July, operated in Dunwoody for five years, and remains open in Chastain Park, Chamblee and Smyrna.
The new, roughly 3,000 square foot Dunwoody location of Taqueria Los Hermanos will be the fifth for the local chain that got its start in Tucker in 2000. The Ballesteros brothers opened the first location in the Publix-anchored The Centre on Hugh Howell, after which they added locations in Lilburn, Lawrenceville and Suwanee.
The casual restaurant is a favorite among several ToNeTo Atlanta readers in Tucker and has won numerous awards and accolades over the years. The restaurant's menu is influenced by the Southwestern coast of Mexico as well as "California and Georgia cuisine."
Sources tell ToNeTo Atlanta that the owners of Taqueria Los Hermanos plan to be open in Dunwoody in January 2020. The new Mexican restaurant would likely be followed by Breadwinner Cafe and Bakery, which is slated to open its second overall location"in early 2020" in place of the beloved Wright's Gourmet which abruptly closed this past February after about 35 years in business.
ToNeTo Atlanta thanks City of Dunwoody mayoral candidate Terry Nall for the above photo as well as the tip about the exciting Dunwoody opening.
