Yet another new chicken chain is entering the Atlanta market. Chick'nCone, a franchise based in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, has at least two locations coming to metro Atlanta, the first of which is slated to open in May in Alpharetta. A second is planned to open later this year in Reynoldstown. The Alpharetta outpost (5215 Windward Parkway) will occupy a space some might consider cursed, as it was previously home to Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill and before that, Uncle Maddio's Pizza.
The Reynoldstown restaurant, planned for Modera Reynoldstown (780 Memorial Drive), will open alongside previously announced eateries Envegan and Clean Juice. The Alpharetta and Reynoldstown Chick'nCones are being opened by separate franchisees.
The Chick'nCone website indicates that there are currently twelve locations open with another eleven coming soon, including the two planned for metro Atlanta. In addition, there are currently four units open in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as well as a unit planned for Toronto.
The new Alpharetta outpost is slated to open Saturday May 8 at 11 AM, according to online postings.
