One of the OG Atlanta area food trucks announced that it will close this coming November after ten years in business. Meatballerz, owned by the daughter and mother duo of Cara & Cathy Delalla made the announcement on their Facebook page.
"Hello Meatballerz fans and followers, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closing of the Meatballerz family of Food Trucks at the end of November. We have loved serving all of our amazing customers over the last decade and will truly miss each and every one of you. We urge you to get out and support us while you still can. Thank you for 10 great years!"
Meatballerz offered "Italian food with a twist," including their famous meatball sandwiches. The Delallas, who operate both Meatballerz and Meatballerz Pizza food trucks, did not provide a reason for the closure.
The meatball eatery is at least the third PREP based business to shutter most or all of its operations in recent years following the closures of beloved eateries Little Farmhouse Cafe (2022) and Hot Chickpeas (2023).
