As the brand continues to narrow its focus, Snooze an A.M. Eatery will soon close its restaurant along Roswell Road in Chastain Park. The restaurant, situated in a freestanding building at 4600 Roswell Road, was the brand's first location in Atlanta and opened February 17, 2021.
The Denver-based company did not cite a specific reason for the closure, but a source close to the restaurant tells ToNeTo Atlanta that similarly to West Midtown, the Chastain location was simply not living up to expectations.
The Chastain Market location is due to close Wednesday April 16.
When Snooze opened in Chastain Park it replaced then-Birmingham-based Urban Cookhouse which opened in the 4,000 square foot freestanding building in the center in 2016.
Chastain Market (fka Gateway Sandy Springs) this past November welcomed a new Trader Joe's to a large portion of the former Sprout's Farmers Market. In addition, the center saw Pendolino, a new Italian restaurant, open, but Tupelo Honey Cafe, close. The Tupelo Honey space remains vacant and available.
Following the closure in Chastain Park and the January closure of the brand's West Midtown outpost, Snooze will operate five locations in metro Atlanta:
Exchange at Gwinnett in Buford, Akers Mill Square near Cumberland Mall in Atlanta, Sterling Pointe across from Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, Midtown Promenade near Piedmont Park, The BeltLine in Midtown, and near North Point Mall in Alpharetta.
Snooze is currently running a promotion to welcome guests into its restaurants with a buy one entree, get one entree 50% off deal with code: SPRING25. (Share code with server upon arrival. Good for dine-in only.)
