Da Vinci's Donuts to rise in Sandy Springs
Da Vinci's Donuts plans to expand from their single Alpharetta location to a second store in Sandy Springs. Da Vinci's new location will be located at 5610 Glenridge Drive, within the Glenridge Springs mixed use project. A number of restaurants already exist within the center including Qdoba Mexican Grill, Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe, Blue Moon Pizza, Firehouse Subs and Sushi Nami.
Glenridge Springs is located behind the Haverty's building and has been open for a few years. The space Da Vinci's will occupy has been vacant for some time. Ownership aims to have the new location open by mid-February, but hopefully no later than the end of the month.
Da Vinci's features an assortment of donuts with various icings, toppings, and drizzles with which to "decorate" your donut. In addition, Da Vinci's offers an assortment of teas, coffees and other beverages.
Both Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme have been building new stores in metro Atlanta, but small independent shops have carved out devoted followings around Atlanta as well.
Independent shops such as Sarah Donuts in Norcross, Dutch Monkey Doughnuts in Cumming and Dough in the Box in Marietta, have successfully satisfied suburban tastebuds. Intown, Happy Donuts in East Atlanta, Sublime Doughnuts in Home Park and Revolution Doughnuts in Decatur have each cultivated a loyal clientele for their unique takes on the decadent treat. Which is your favorite?
