O-Ku is coming to the Westside
Charleston, South Carolina-based Indigo Road Hospitality is bringing another restaurant to Atlanta. O-Ku, an "authentic Asian" restaurant will open in the upcoming Westside Ironworks project on Howell Mill Road.
O-Ku will be located in a roughly 3,200 square foot space close to the center of the property. Barcelona Wine Bar from Norwalk, Conneticut-based Barteca Restaurant Group is also opening in the project. Barcelona will be located in a roughly 4,000 square foot free-standing building, the only space shown to have a patio.
Indigo Road started in Charleston in 2009, and today includes a total of six restaurants in "the Holy city." Late last year, the group opened a satellite location of its Oak Steakhouse in Avalon in Alpharetta and will soon open a new Italian restaurant, Colletta, also in Avalon.
Current plans call for Colletta to open this Thursday, February 5th. O-Ku will follow in the fall, likely in late September or early October.
Sources say the group is planning to open "a number of other concepts" in metro Atlanta.
